About Michael Pieknik

A Dearborn trial attorney who listens to his clients and tells their story to the jury.

Two decades in the courtroom

Michael Pieknik is a Dearborn, Michigan trial attorney with more than 20 years of courtroom experience. Practicing since 2004, he has tried numerous civil and criminal jury cases to verdict — winning not-guilty verdicts and dismissals on felonies that could have carried prison sentences of more than 25 years, and securing multiple verdicts and settlements exceeding one million dollars.

Michael is a graduate of the Gerry Spence Method at the Trial Lawyers College, an intensive program in client-centered trial advocacy that relatively few lawyers complete. That training reflects how he practices: he listens closely to his clients, understands what matters to them, and tells their story to the jury in a way that resonates.

He is admitted to practice in Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky, as well as several federal courts, and focuses his practice on criminal defense and personal injury matters in Michigan.

Whether the matter is a serious felony or a life-changing injury, Michael brings the same commitment to every client: thorough preparation, honest counsel, and a genuine willingness to take the case to trial.
